Soča Valley and Triglav National Park day trip

A small-group day tour from Ljubljana over the Vršič Pass into the Soča Valley, with a licensed local guide and up to 8 guests. The morning stops at Lake Jasna at Kranjska Gora, then climbs the Vršič Pass, Slovenia's highest mountain road, fifty hairpin bends through Triglav National Park on a road built by prisoners of war in WWI, before dropping into the emerald Soča Valley. In Bovec, the group splits by choice. 1. Option: The Kozjak waterfalls & Kobarid option is an easy walk to the Kozjak Waterfall, a turquoise pool in a rock chamber, and time in Kobarid, whose museum tells the story of the WWI Soča Front. 2. Option: The Soča rafting is three hours on the river with pro crew and full equipment, beginners and children welcome, fee paid separately. Everyone regroups in Bovec for the drive back to Ljubljana.
