Nowa Huta

Nowa Huta is Kraków’s planned workers’ city, built around steel. Broad avenues pass monumental apartment blocks and lead toward Plac Centralny, where socialist-realist facades give the streets a grand, deliberate rhythm. The steelworks remain part of its story.
