Assos is lined by pretty coloured houses, a small shady square and the remains of the 15th century Venetian castle up on the hill above the village making it a popular choice for visitors. There is also a small pebbly beach offering clear waters and stunning views across the bay. Foki Beach is a small, picturesque pebbly cove near Fiskardo, renowned for its crystal-clear waters, calm atmosphere, and dense olive and pine trees providing natural shade. It is highly popular for family swimming and exploring nearby sea caves, often featuring anchored boats. Fiskardo is the only village which was left untouched by the 1953 earthquake and where the original Venetian style buildings are still visible.
