All-inclusive Aurora Hunt with 98% success rate (photos included)

This year we’re celebrating 10 Years of The Green Adventure! Trust local experienced guides with a 98% success rate last season and the finest photographers. We will pick you up in front of Scandic Ishavshotel and set off on a comfortable journey in our minibus. In the minibus our expedition leader will do a small introduction about weather conditions, possibilities to see the lights and selected locations. We always work as a team, so we are in contact with other Aurora hunters to increase our chances. Once we find the right place under the clear skies, we will get ready for the show. We will also set up a bonfire, that's the perfect time to warm up with a cup of hot drink and also roast some sweet marshmallows. By the time we will tell you some interesting stories from the north and legends about lady Aurora. Also you will have a chance to try "made in Tromso" soup, which is tailored for arctic expeditions. After the tour you will receive photos from our expedition leader.

Adults Only Aurora Hunt with Wandering Owl

Come with us for your small-group Aurora hunt for an ethical experience chasing the Aurora Borealis. Leave the light pollution in Tromsø behind and travel into the Arctic wilderness. Our guides use forecasts and local knowledge to decide on the best place to chase the Northern Lights. When we find the best spot, we will dress in warm thermal suits, make a cosy campfire, and enjoy a warm meal. During the tour, your guide will take photos of you, which will be available for free in web-sized resolution after the tour. Relax by the fire with hot tea before returning to your hotel in Tromsø. Though there is never a guarantee of seeing this phenomenon, our Aurora Hunters will do their best every night of the season. Increase your chances of seeing the Northern Lights by joining on multiple evenings.

Minivan Northern Lights excursion (8 guests per minivan)

Every evening we use the latest weather update to choose the area around Tromso with best chances for clear skies. At 7 pm, we pick you up outside main entrance of Radisson Blu Hotel and walk you 100 meters to our office where we show you the proper Aurora/night photography settings on your camera/mobile phone. Then we give you warm overalls and boots, and drive you straight to the best spot. Some nights the Aurora is visible as soon as we arrive, while other evenings we relax with coffee and muffins while we wait for her. Tromso: Private Aurora Chase by Minivan

Tromso region is arguably the best place in the world to find the Northern Lights between September and March every year. Our professional and friendly guide/photographer will drive you and your partner, family, or friends on an unforgettable PRIVATE (no other guests) Northern Lights Chase along beautiful Fjords, Mountains and Lakes. We use minivans with a capacity from one and up to eight guests each. We have 4 minivans that usually drive in different directions. We will first take you to our office where we will brief you about the realistic chances of the evening. If chances are low, we will offer to move to next day or to get a 100% refund. Please note that unlimited pictures are included (no extra charge). So, please relax and let US take you to the Aurora. This is our 12th year guiding private Aurora excursions, so we certainly have learned a couple of "secret" patterns that tell us when and where to find her. Welcome!

When the Northern Lights appear, your guide—also a professional photographer—will take high-quality photos of you to remember the experience. If needed, we may move between locations to find clear skies. After the tour, you’ll be returned to Tromsø and dropped off at your hotel or accommodation.
