We will go slow, taking in the rich complexity of the coral reef as I point out & identify marine species & fascinating reef life behavior. Giant Sea Turtle Conservation Tour in Bocas del Toro

Being able to observe the leatherback turtles, the largest of all turtles is a truly memorable experience. It is as large as a human being, reaching a length of 5.6 feet (approx. 1.7 meters). This turtle is the heaviest non-crocodilian reptile in existence, reaching a weight of 500 kilograms (1,100 pounds)! Adult specimens measure between 4.5 and over 6 feet (1.4 to 1.8 meters) in length.
