Columbia Gorge Scenic Bikeway full day ride

If there is any adventure that we love more than biking in the Columbia River Gorge, we would be hard-pressed to identify it. The cycling here is world-renowned and it's no accident it's one of less than a dozen places in the world to have a Peloton-guided scenic ride created around it. We get to do that in real life! We will ride between 35 and 60 miles (60 - 100 km) depending on your interests and the group, with lots of up and down hills, although all at gentle slopes and lower elevations (nothing over 900 feet / 300 meters). The adventure here is a challenge but not an unsurmountable one; from one end of the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Highway to another, or an out-and-back ride from a stunning viewpoint, along a scenic highway, then onto a protected bike/pedestrian pathway. Either way, we will ride some of the country's most beautiful roads and visit beautiful waterfalls like Multnomah and Horsetail Falls. Lunch will be on your own with our recommendations

The wind will blow us down to Government Cove where a secluded cove full of wildlife awaits. We'll pause for a water break on the shore and get a chance to watch the birds soar over the water. After some more exploring of beautiful Government Cove we'll paddle to shore and hop on a 5 minute shuttle back to where we started. This half-day of exploring and meditating on wonders with very short hikes and visits to overlooks and vistas will have you gasping in awe. We'll visit waterfalls and overlooks, selected by our guides to include both the most iconic, like the unmissable Latourell Falls, a stunning plunge-style falls that is one of the most iconic in Oregon, and the special. Depending on weather conditions, this could include a few small hidden waterfalls and another spectacular plunge-style falls with columnar basalt. We operate rain or shine!
