Olive Oil Tour: An experience to savor
From the Olive Tree to Your Mouth: An Experience to Savor
The city fades into the distance, and little by little, the Alhambra disappears among hills covered in centuries-old olive trees.
The landscape stretches endlessly: perfect rows of trees that have been giving life for centuries to the true treasure of Andalusia… extra virgin olive oil.
We arrive at the olive mill, the true heart of production. You walk among conveyor belts, machinery, and steel tanks where the fruit is transformed into liquid gold.
Our guide at the mill explains each step: how the olives are harvested, why timing is crucial, and how the oil is preserved with all its aromas and properties.
And then comes the magic moment: the tasting.
The oil is smelled, felt, and understood.
One oil is intense, the other mild… It’s not just about tasting; it’s about learning to recognize the quality, the nuances, the character of each variety.
