Private Tour to Vall de Nuria with the Pyrenees Mountain Train
Your private guide will pick you up at your hotel in a private vehicle to begin a scenic journey from Barcelona to the Pyrenees. Along the way, you will pass through the Montseny Natural Park, a vast biosphere reserve, and Ripoll, home to a monastery founded in 879 and considered the birthplace of Catalonia.
You will then reach Queralbs, a picturesque stone village at 1,236 meters, with just over 100 residents. Here, you can admire Romanesque churches dating back to the 10th and 12th centuries. Then you will board the cogwheel train for a spectacular 12.5 km ascent through tunnels and waterfalls, climbing over 700 meters to the Sanctuary of Núria, at 2,000 meters and surrounded by peaks nearing 3,000 meters.
