Kayak to Goat Island in Sydney Harbour with Local

Come enjoy a morning sea kayak adventure on Sydney's beautiful harbour. No engine noise or fumes, just the sound of your paddle in the water and the sea birds squawking above! We'll experience the built environs and get up close and personal with many of the harbour's natural wonders and marine inhabitants. We'll paddle to the center of the harbour where we'll get some photos of you framed by the Harbour Bridge (I'm a professional photographer in my other job so expect good pics - no charge of course!) We'll then land and explore Goat Island (Memel in the local Aboriginal Language) before paddling back via Darling Harbour. Goat Island is closed to the public and landing is by special permit only. Your permit is included as part of the tour. After we're finished your welcome to have a hot shower before treating yourself to a great lunch at the famous Sydney Fish Markets a short walk away.

We hop in and out of the car to get the best views whilst hearing local history & interesting facts. We drive through the luxurious residential areas on the harbour foreshore which is home to some of the most expensive real estate in Sydney. After the tour I can drop you off in Bondi to shop in the eclectic streets that the locals love. Have a swim at famous Bondi Beach. Catch a glimpse of the TV show stars of "Bondi Rescue" if you are lucky. Enjoy lunch at the Icebergs Ocean Pool, and continue on to the scenic coastal walk. Sydney Northern Beaches Private Tour | Palm Beach & Ku-ring-gai

Thirty kilometres of coastline stretch north of Sydney Harbour Bridge — ancient sandstone headlands, rock platforms, ocean pools, surf beaches and a national park thousands of years old. Our first stop after driving over the Bridge is Georges Heights - sweeping harbour views most tourists never find, followed by the easy coastal walk from Manly to Shelley Beach, and North Head's panoramic views across the harbour entrance. The coast road runs north to Palm Beach and here we take a 25-minute walk to Barrenjoey Lighthouse, and enjoy majestic views in all directions. A lighthouse tour is included if you book on Sunday. Lunch is served along the way. The afternoon moves into Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park - Aboriginal rock engravings made by the Darramurragal and Garigal people, and the spectacular views from West Head Lookout across Pittwater to Lion Island. Optional variations include Taronga Zoo, a Northern Beaches craft microbrewery, or return ferry trip from Manly to the city.
