Lake Enriquillo

You will be picked up from your hotel at 7:30 a.m. and then travel northwest. During the approximately two-hour drive to Lake Enriquillo, you will stop at a scenic viewpoint that is ideal for capturing impressive landscape photographs. Lake Enriquillo is one of the country’s most striking natural landscapes and lies about 40 metres below sea level. The region is characterized by a hot, dry climate, yet springs and small rivers make certain areas surprisingly fertile.
