We could all use some luxurious waterfront dining right about now! La Mar has some of the most simplistic yet delightful Peruvian dishes while overseeing the gorgeous waters in the heart of Miami. If you like laid-back lounge outdoors vibes, Brick Wynwood is definitely the place to be. Now before I continue, it does get super packed on weekends 10 PM and later so definitely arrive early for sure or go during their daytime hours to avoid crazy crowds. They have amazing drinks and it’s an open-air venue so you definitely cannot get too hot. I love the music selection, including R&B, Hiphop, and they have Latin nights as well and more. Now, before you guys read all of this, this restaurant does require a wait and they do not take reservations, unfortunately. The wait for 1hr+ is on a daily basis(unless you visit early on a week day before 10am), but I promise it is worth every second! They have amazingly handcrafted beverages with ice pops inside of them! They even have tasty waffles, meat options, fresh fruits, and more. I really hope they open up another location immediately! This is the perfect activity for when you bring your family to town, and they have never really seen the downtown scenery of Miami! This tour brings you on a huge yacht that you get on at Bayside Marketplace with snacks and drinks on board, and there is a tour guide, speaking on a intercom to explain the different homes and owners of the homes. Majority of huge homes are owned by celebrities or those who are pretty wealthy, so it’s interesting to experience this interactive and jaw-dropping sightseeing cruise tour. Treetop Trekking Miami
If you are dare devil, like myself, you will love this extreme activity in the heart of downtown Miami. Treetop trekking includes a full-blown obstacle course with zip lining, ropes, rock climbing in the sky and more. This is not for the weak lol! I did get stuck on the zip line and thank God an instructor came to save me. I would not recommend bringing kids, but they do have a kid course, some kids, checking out when they see the course. Be ready! It’s located in jungle Island, a mini island right before you end up in South Beach, and there is plenty of parking to pay for. This is by far my FAVORITE Asian restaurant in the South Florida area hands down. They combine flavors across all of Asia to create 10/10 dishes like their cheesy snow wings, pineapple fried rice, and pad Thai noodles. You’ll love it here! NoMi village is located in the North Miami area and a perfect location to chill, do yoga, have a picnic, throw a outdoor event, visit a limited time concert being held, sip on a couple drinks at their in- house bar, partake in a mobile bowling and gaming area, or try out there many different food trucks. Typically they have over 10 food trucks filled with Hispanic, Caribbean, and Asian food options. They even host dance classes there sometimes. Keep in mind this is a huge outdoor open grass area, so be prepared if the weather is not the best and come check it out with your loved ones.
