Technically Hermosa but we will allow it because it is worth the few minute drive. Nowhere else can you sip a cocktail steps from the sand and watch the sun go down over the pier. Food is Hawaiian style and tasty but this place serves up SoCal vibes the best.

Our kids loved this boat ride and tour of the underwater life in their town. It is surprisingly inexpensive and a fun way to see the harbor, the loud sea lions and experience the views of the town from the water.

South Coast Botanic Garden
Just south of RB, the Botanical Garden is worth a stop. This expensive garden can be a full afternoon, or a couple hour stop depending on your energy. Sometimes we like to bring a picnic and hang out in the rose garden. Tip: check their schedule as they have very interesting events and activations
