The main square of Montepuliciano is a must visit! For my movie lovers, this is the famous scene in the Twilight Saga: New Moon where Bella saves Edward! From this plaza, get lost in the old streets of Montepulciano—discover a small business, stop for a wine tasting, take a walk throughout the small town.
Located in the center of Montepulicano, this is the perfect breakfast place for a coffee and a pastry. Try to get a seat outside on the balcony for the most incredible views of the Tuscan landscape. Dogs are allowed on the beautiful terrace!
A classic photo op of the famous cypress trees in Tuscany! Be mindful that this is an entrance to an accommodation and is allowed for guests only. However, you can take a quick photo if you stay right by the entrance.
Be sure to check out the cypress ring AND the cypress grove photo opportunities in this location! I preferred our photo with the cypress groves as they were more easily seen from eye level!
This tiny church can be found sitting on a bill between San Quirico and Pienza. This is one of the most popular places to photograph in Tuscany. Be sure to look up the different ways in which you can get there!
A trip to the southern region of Tuscany is NOT complete without a wine tour! Try not only Montepulciano wine but also Super Tuscan and Brunello wines! Brunello wines are very dear to this region and on this tour you will see how passionate all of the locals are about each of their wines and this region! Be sure to ask if your dog can come along!
Centrally located with only about a 10 minute walk to the city center. Free breakfast and parking provided which is a major advantage! Dogs are allowed to stay here as long as they are not left in the rooms alone.

Book a wine tasting or tour in this majestic castle located in the heart of the Chianti region of Tuscany. Be sure to book your tour in advance and also to bring your dog because they are a dog friendly winery!
Stop in the small town of Greve for a quick lunch after or before your wine tour. Choose from different restaurants in the famous Piazza Matteotti! Most of the restaurants have terraces with shaded areas to be able to handle all types of weather.
