Hopstix
A local favorite in Chamblee with a genuinely fun brewpub vibe. Hopstix blends Asian fusion with house-brewed craft beers, with standouts like the robata skewers, Indonesian soto soup, and fresh nigiri keeping regulars coming back. The patio is a great spot on a warm evening.
See MoreSouthbound
Downtown Chamblee's Southbound lives in a late 1800s building, all old brick and weathered wood, full of character. Southern comfort food done with a little swagger: wild Georgia shrimp, smoked short rib, hot chicken with a Szechuan kick. Craft cocktails and a great beer list to wash it all down.
See MoreBLUETOP Restaurant
A former taxi stand turned fast-casual hang, Bluetop brings serious personality to a Chamblee corner. Order at the counter, grab a seat inside or out on the sprawling back patio, and dig into creative American comfort food: burgers built with local beef, seasonal small plates, Cajun honey wings. Local craft beers on tap, bocce and cornhole out back, live music on weekends. More backyard cookout than restaurant, and that's exactly the point.
See MoreAntiguo Lobo
Mexican-American family legacy on a plate. Antiguo Lobo ("old wolf") traces back to the Oñate family patriarch, who immigrated from Jalisco and helped shape Georgia's Mexican restaurant scene starting in the 1970s. The bar goes heavy on agave, tequila, and mezcal, with margaritas made from scratch. Birria tacos, carne asada, pollo al mole, fresh chips and salsa on arrival. This one's got corazón.
See MoreVintage Pizzeria
Brick walls, gas lights, a hand-crafted bar, and New Jersey-style thin crust pizza. Vintage Pizzeria has been holding down Antique Row since 2005. Dough made fresh daily, hand-tossed and topped simply, with ten beers on tap and a full wine list to go alongside. Bar side for adults, family dining room on the other: the floor plan actually thinks it through.
See MoreThe Alden
Chamblee's most decorated table, and it doesn't feel like it. Chef Jared Hucks spent years cooking at Michelin-starred kitchens in Spain and Thailand before coming home to open The Alden in 2018, and the food reflects all of it. The menu changes daily around local seasonal ingredients, with shareable dishes that swing from Asian-inspired to Mediterranean without losing the thread. For the full experience, grab a seat at the chef's counter for the seven-course tasting menu. Michelin Guide recommended, deservedly.
