Day 1

Delicate Arch
Start day 1 day bright and early to hike up to the famous Delicate Arch in Arches National Park! You’ll hike 3.2 miles roundtrip with 629 feet of elevation gain. It’s a spectacular sight and not to be missed if you’re in the Moab area! Bring lots of water and sunscreen!

Double Arch
After you hike Delicate Arch, you’ll have to stop by Double Arch… a quick and flat .6 mile hike and you’ll be standing beneath massive arches! They’re fun to climb around on too!

Sand Dune Arch
Then make a stop at Sand Dune Arch where you can feel the fine sand beneath your feet and squeeze through a narrow little passage to get to what feels like a room that glows from the orange sandstone. It’s .3 miles and perfect for hikers of all skill levels!

Balanced Rock
End the day at sunset at Balanced Rock! The sun will illuminate the rocks making it the perfect place for the sunset. The best part? You don’t need to leave your car. After this day, you deserve a good night’s sleep!

Day 2

Canyonlands National Park
A bit of a drive from Moab so we’re going to start early to catch the sunrise in the park!

Mesa Arch
This is the first stop of Day 2. You’ll have to wake up super early to make it here for sunrise because it’s nearly an hour from Moab… but it’s so worth it! The sunrise is framed perfectly in the center of this arch! It’s a short .7 mile hike. Be prepared to share it with other nature and photography enthusiasts. After all, it is quite spectacular!

Grand View Point Road
After sunrise at Mesa Arch, you’re going to head over to Grand View Point Overlook and take in the views of the canyon!

Dead Horse Point State Park
It’ll still be early in the day, so on your way back to Moab you’ll make a stop at Dead Horse State Park, which is a slight detour. There’s an amazing overlook which gives you different vantage points than the Canyonlands Viewpoints. It’s so spectacular and not to be missed! It’s time to take it easy for the rest of the afternoon and evening because there’s a BIG hike tomorrow!

Day 3

Druid Arch
Day 3 is a big day… starting with a 1.5 hour drive from Moab to the trailhead. You’re going to head to the Needles District in Canyonlands National Park. The hike itself is 10.4 miles roundtrip with 1,614 feet of elevation gain. You’ll be in a more remote area of the park and definitely away from the crowds. This arch is spectacular and not to be missed if you think you have 10 miles to give! A much deserved meal will be in store after this one! It gets extremely hot in the summer so shoulder season would be best for this hike. Bring lots of water and sunscreen!
