Prolog Coffee Bar Meatpacking District
An iconic third-wave coffee shop in one of the coolest neighbourhoods in Copenhagen.

Christiansborg Palace
Once a royal palace and still used for royal engagements today, as well as for the Danish parliament. While the palace itself was beautiful, the Royal Stables ended up being my favourite part of the experience.

Juno the bakery
Even at 7:30 a.m., there was already a line down the street, which speaks to its popularity. The pastries absolutely lived up to their reputation; melt in your mouth!

We grabbed coffee here as it's proximity to Nordhavn station (the metro stop near Juno); and it was amazing. My husband had the handbrew, and I had an iced latte.

Helsingør Havn
Helsingør ultimately became our favourite experience of the entire trip and is somewhere we would enthusiastically recommend! The train ride offered a great opportunity to see some of the Danish countryside, and the journey was very relaxing.

Frederiksberg Have was lovely to wander through, and we arrived at the viewpoint just in time for the elephants’ lunch at 2:30 p.m.; this is the best time to spot the elephants!

We headed to the Cisterns to see the Seven Deaths cinematic opera. The caves were a welcome escape from the heat (+27! outside), and a beautiful exhibit.
