For the most part, this is a great beginner zone. The south end of the beach can get a little more difficult.

This is a great zone in between swells for beginners. There's about 400 yards of peaky sandbars. The surf can get super fun when there's some east in the swell.

Freshwater Beach
This is a nice spot for intermediate surfers on a good swell day. But it is more of a beginner break when it's in between swells.

Death Wish

Cape Solander
Around the corner from Botany Bay lays "Ours." It's one of the heaviest surf waves in the world. It's also home to Red Bull's Cape Fear content featuring the surf world's most psychotic daredevils and big-wave chargers. It's highly regulated by sticks and boogs alike and best to watch from the cliff.

It's about 100 meters off the coast of Cronulla and also one of the heaviest "paddle-only" waves in the world. Best to view this one from the safety of the shoulder.
