if you go to valbone before the valbona - theth hike, you’ll have to get on a ferry to cross the komani lake. honestly ? this lake is GORGEOUS. turquoise waters and green mountains towering everywhere. reminds me of thailand or philippines!

this is the hiking trail you’ll do. it takes about 7 hours on average.
You cannot get to valbone -> theth or vice versa with a car so if you don’t hike, you need to choose which area you want to stay in
if you do want to skip the hike, then i suggest staying in theth only as its even more beautiful and has more to do
