Stop 2: Cotes D'Azur

Pont du Gard
An ancient Roman Aqueduct that is so well preserved, you can walk across it. The museum is intersting but swimming below is the most refreshing view.

Train de l'Ardèche
This vintage steam train takes you on a tour through the Ardeche valley. Bring snacks and cozy up to a window seat to see waterfalls, verdant hills and maybe even a wild goat or two.

Place de l’Horloge
Avignon is a vibrant town, filled with art, performances, and excellent shopping. We stopped here twice on our trip and had so much fun just walking around, eating sorbet and admiring the bustle of the busy streets.

A family owned olive grove and farm for 4 generations, this stop let’s you experience a working Olive oil production, sample the different types and marvel at this magical woody setting.

Stop 3: Lyon

Ô Galettes de Sophie
Trek to Pérouges, a perfectly preserved hilltop town from the Middle Ages, for its transporting town and these buttery, flaky galettes. A signature dish for centuries, tasting these treats as you explore the cobbled streets is a true step back in time. Note: the streets are uneven and it’s not easy to walk here. Don’t miss the photo opp of the medieval clock in the town square!
