Start your day early by visiting Sugarloaf Mountain when it opens. Purchase the earliest ticket to enjoy a more relaxed experience, so you do not have the shove through the crowds.
Relax by the beach and enjoy tapas with a gorgeous view.
Travel to the center of the city and enjoy live performances and dance the night away at the Museum of Modern Art.
Relax the day at the Copacabana beach OR (if there is a bloco there) dance the day away at a Carnival block party.
Come hungry to this all-you-can-eat Brazilian steakhouse.
Spend the night dancing away at the annual Anitta concert.
Wake up early to visit the famous Christ the Redeemer. It is best to arrive as early as possible to avoid the crowds.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast/lunch at this cute bistro. If you can, make a reservation because there may be a line.
Take a mid-day nap and be prepared to dance the night away at the Sambadrome. This incredible event will last the entire night (I believe I was there until 4 am).
Make a reservation for the Plague Cafe. This is the perfect place to relax and eat with a gorgeous view.
Have a beach day and enjoy the beautiful view. Do not be surprised if a pop-up bloco appears at the beach.
Enjoy a cocktail at this small beach bar.
