Festivities

Front Street Park
The gazebo here will be the the venue for traditional music and a place to raise a stein during Leavenworth's Oktoberfest celebrations. The beer garden will be open Fridays and Saturdays during the festival for people 21 and older. A nearby Kinderplatz will be available for families and those younger than 21. Each Saturday of Oktoberfest the festival will open with a Festzug march through town. Dress in your Bavarian best and walk with Alphorn players and other performers to open the Oktoberfest celebrations for the day. Afterward, keg tappings will be at 1 p.m. at the Festhalle Venue (see below) and 2 p.m. at the Front Street Park venue.
