El Chivo Cantina

Really delicious tacos + burritos! Grab some tacos & a draft beer! Very cozy atmosphere with indoor + outdoor area.

Al Chile

This was my favorite food spot in Nosara. Got a few of the different tacos, the fish were my favorite. Their guacamole portion size is HUGE! Also really enjoyed their refreshing juices/drink menu. The outdoor seating is tucked into this peaceful jungle atmosphere, right off the main road.

The Gilded Iguana Surf Hotel

Definitely expensive, but a really nice atmosphere, with a lot of healthy options on the menu. Portions are enormous.

Olo Alaia Surf & Brew

A cute surf shop x coffee shop. Come check out the boards and small selection of bikinis, and other surf accessories and grab a matcha tea while you’re walking around the main part of town.

ALBERKA

Alberka concept shop is a really beautifully curated shop with trendy pieces from brands all around the world. They carry Meraki dry bags, so be sure to ask about them when ya stop in! A must have on all of your Costa Rica adventures, especially during rainy season.

Rosi's Playa Pelada

Rosi’s is the best spot to get authentic Costa Rican food. The Casado is out of this world!!

Guiones Beach

Really fun, friendly waves to surf here - even if there is some size in the swell. A nice beach break with peaks spread out down the beach! Also little huts on the beach to escape the sun if you get too hot.

Nomad Surf Shop

Great spot for surf board rental.

A trendy upscale shop right along the walk from the main part of town, to the beach.

Orgánico Grocer

A one stop shop for all healthy grocery/wellness items you are looking for. More expensive than most, but they carry very specific items that would be hard to find elsewhere. They also have a huge variety of supplements!

The Apothecary - Sacred Plants Farmacy

Totally worth stopping by and learning about all of the different Chinese herbs + medicine. You can find anything ya need! We spent hours in here trying to narrow down which supplements we were going to get because we wanted all of them. If you’re into traditional Chinese medicine, you’ll be in heaven in here.. we sure were!
