The Butchart Gardens
The gardens are a beautiful thing to see all year round. Enjoy the blooms in spring and summer and in the fall enjoy the turning of the leave. In winter around the holiday time, they offer a lights show celebrating the holidays. It is a fun and beautiful place to enjoy a nice stroll at.

The Inner Harbour is a wonderful place to just walk around. Take a look at all the boats docked in the harbour. If you time it right, you can see the water taxi’s do their little dance.

10 Acres Bistro is the perfect place to have a nice light lunch or early dinner. Between all of us, we all had some amazing sandwiches, salads, and drinks to enjoy. It is smaller in size but a beautiful space to be in and worth the wait to get a table.

The Sticky Wicket Bar & Restaurant
This is where my parents celebrated their engagement with their families back in the 90s so every time we come to Victoria it is a must for us to have a meal and drink. The Sticky Wicket is a large restaurant and if you go during lunch time it is easier to get in and get a table. You will never have a bland or bad dish here.

10 Acres Commons who is a sister restaurant to 10 Acre Bistro just up the street. We came in for dinner, had a couple of salads and burgers on the table and shared some appetizers as a family. It’s an amazing little restaurant that is very popular and if you want to get a table without the long wait, reserve your table first thing in the morning.

We stopped in one time to catch a game of soccer that was being aired and to cool down from the summer heat. We stayed longer than the game went on. Ate all we could eat and drank a couple beers. We have been back a few times since that first journey in.

The Inn has beautiful views from every room. It is a small walk from the main stretch in Victoria but that makes it even more peaceful then the beautiful rooms and decor.

The Hotel Grand Pacific is a massive hotel with so much to offer. Right on the outskirts of the heavy packed street this hotel is perfectly placed for an easy day of walking around town. There is a wonderful gym and pool in the hotel for guests to use. If you need a coffee but don’t want to leave the hotel. No worries on the bottom floor is a coffee shop.
