Kitzlochklamm
A dramatic change from open mountain trails, Kitzlochklamm takes you into a world of rushing water, towering rock walls, bridges, and narrow passages. The gorge walk is around 1 mile and feels like an Alpine adventure playground carved by centuries of flowing water.

The trail begins at the Kolm Saigurn parking area, at the end of the Rauriser Valley. This magical 3.2-mile loop climbs gently through one of Austria’s most unique primeval forests, with around 590 feet of elevation gain. With wooden bridges and educational signs, it feels less like a hike and more like stepping into a storybook corner of Hohe Tauern National Park.
