Fiore Winery & Distillery
Fiore is a winery in Maryland with Italian roots. Mike and Rose Fiore came from Calabria, Italy, and opened Fiore in 1986 as Maryland’s 12th licensed winery! The vineyard is named La Felicetta, after the family’s farm back home. Three generations of the family run it today, and there’s a distillery on site, too.
Fiore's indoor-outdoor tasting room also has lawn space. Bring a blanket and a basket of cheese and bread, and enjoy tasting wine.
Note: Open seven days a week, from 12-5 p.m.

The tasting experience at Mount Felix Vineyard & Winery centers on a Georgian manor house from about 1830, with a long stone patio overlooking the vineyard and the Chesapeake Bay. The southeast-facing slopes get sunlight reflected off the bay, which helps the grapes ripen. Mount Felix has one of the largest Chambourcin, a French-American hybrid grape variety, plantings in Maryland. This is a beautiful place to sip wine and enjoy the sun setting over the Susquehanna.
Note: Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

The charming taproom is built from reclaimed barn wood and stone from the farm, and it faces west so you can watch the sunset. The brewery also regularly has food trucks and other events like the Maryland Craft Beer Competition, so make sure you check their schedule.
