Even if you’re not staying here, it’s worth dedicating a full day to the Kimpton Seafire. Start with a spa appointment and linger for an hour or two before moving outside to the beach. Rent chairs or a cabana, order brunch or lunch, and spend the afternoon floating between the water and a cocktail. It’s easily one of the most beautiful beachfront settings on the island.
If you happen to be there on a Sunday, don’t miss their Sunday Brunch at Ave (12–3PM). The spread is impressive: fresh seafood, hand-rolled sushi, cheese and charcuterie, live action stations, and a table full of decadent desserts. All paired with Raventós i Blanc cava or craft cocktails from their “liquid buffet.”

Although I didn’t try this out myself, if I had one more day on the island I would have planned it around this - riding horseback straight into the Caribbean Sea. Spirit of the West runs guided rides that take you along the beach and eventually into the water - equal parts surreal and magical. It’s a true bucket-list island moment.
