(Via del Palchetti, 6) – 39 055 210 916 – This place is so much fun. Go in large groups. They have a heavy hand when pouring drinks. You don’t get to pick your own food, but it’s amazing. Negotiate for cheaper price (we got it from 35 to 30 euro)

Middle of the city; climb it – all 366 steps; it sucks but it’s worth it; I recommend doing it at the end of the semester, when you know the city well; take pics.

Other side of the Ponte Vecchio; it is where the Medici’s lived; the gardens are beautiful; go on a nice day and be prepared to wait in line.

Piazzale Michelangelo
this place is AMAZING; either cab it up or walk up there; its far, passed the Ponte Vecchio; it has an amazing FULL view of the city; I now call this view my happy place; it was absolutely beautiful and peaceful; bring a bottle of wine and enjoy with your friends at sunset. If there is one thing you do in Florence MAKE THIS IT.

il Mercato Centrale Firenze
The main Italian large super market. There are butchers etc everywhere! Fresh fruit and GREAT dried fruit upstairs. You have to have a strong stomach to go in there! To get there: It is right near Za Za and Behind the Leather Markets. Follow a leather market and you will end up there. It has a HUGE RED ROOF and looks like a barn.

This is where you can get any grocery items! Like a mini supermarket. Make sure you bring bags to take your groceries home! Tip: Eggs are not refridgerated in Florence! I couldn't find the eggs my first 2 weeks here lol.
