This is where we took our son fresh water fishing. Of course, DI has plenty of access to saltwater, but for a little kid, this was such a cute place to give it a try. Expansive pond/lake with views of all the surrounding pretty homes. Tons of wildlife here - birds, turtles, jumping fish, and the occasional gator.

The Kingstide
We loved going to the Kingstide rooftop for lunch after fishing. Beautiful views, good food options for everybody, cocktails and mocktails. We got burrata with fresh fruit, shrimp cocktail, mahi tacos, etc. This would be great at sunset too.

The DIME
Right after lunch we headed down to the Dime for ice cream and affogato! 🍦 this is also a great place for your iced coffee needs, or, surprisingly, a slice of pizza!

Daniel Island Waterfront Park
The Dime is right across from the waterfront park, so we hung out there after lunch. They have a splash pad for kids to play in, a big grassy lawn, swings overlooking the water, a playground and walking trails. It’s a must!!!

House of Sage - Daniel Island
This one’s for my girls whose trip wouldn’t be complete without a little shopping. House of Sage used to be located downtown Charleston, but recently relocated to the island.
