Death Valley
Get major Tatooine vibes here at these dunes in Death Valley National Park. This is also where R2-D2 and C-3P0 found themselves lost amid the sand dunes in "An New Hope."
Where R2-D2 was zapped by Jawas in "A New Hope."
You’ll find the “Road to Jabba's Palace” in this area from "Return of the Jedi."
Great views of the desert!
Modern mid-century vibes.
Go STAR-gazing where STAR Wars was filmed!
"Return of the Jedi" was shot here. You can actually camp on the Forest Moon of Endor! Be sure to reserve your space way ahead of time. 🏕️
Another place to explore Endor! Be on the lookout for Ewoks.
A must-visit while seeing the redwoods.
You can stay at Luke Skywalker’s childhood home! This hotel was used as the Lars homestead in "A New Hope."
Go here to see the area used as the set for the outdoor shots of the Lars homestead in Episode II, III and IV.
Scenes for the exterior of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s house in "A New Hope," were shot here.
This area served as the Mos Espa set in Episode I and II.
More Mos Espa scenes were shot here, including the exteriors of Anakin Skywalker's hovel in Episode I.
Now known as "Star Wars Canyon," this is where the pod race in "The Phantom Menace," was filmed!
Let someone else show you all the best Star Wars spots—there are many in Tunisia!
This Lake Como retreat is where Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala hid (and later *spoiler alert* wed) in "Attack of the Clones." You can no longer stay here, but you can rent the venue for private events—like a wedding—or book tours!
Tour Villa del Balbianello!
A great option for staying near Villa del Balbianello.
This incredible palace's interior became the interiors of Theed Palace on Naboo in the "The Phantom Menace."
Fun fact: George Lucas sent a team to film the lava flows of Mount Etna when it was erupting to be used as moving backgrounds in "Revenge of the Sith."
The stunning village and surroundings of Grindelwald were used as the backdrop in many Star Wars filming locations, including "Attack of the Clones" and "Revenge of the Sith."
The snowy peaks of the mountains surrounding Grindelwald, including Eiger and Jungfraujoch, were used as background scenery for planet Alderaan, Princess Leia’s home.
Stay IN Grindelwald for the ultimate experience.
This plaza was used as the location for the planet of Naboo, specifically as the exterior of the Theed Royal Palace in Episode II.
There’s a ton to see in Seville. Don’t miss this when visiting.
I mean...it looks like it could’ve been in Star Wars tbh.
A hip place to stay with a rooftop pool and a trendy bar.
A unique place to stay that's also affordable—once the home of Spanish guitar maestro Niño Ricardo.
Dubrovnik was used as the Star Wars location for Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica in "The Last Jedi."
See more filming locations for "The Last Jedi" here.
This is where the beach scene was filmed on planet Cantonica in "The Last Jedi."
Here's a great way to see the iconic walls and some filming locations from Star Wars and Game of Thrones.
Right in Old Town!
A more budget-friendly place to stay in Dubrovnik.
The Wadi Rum desert in Jordan was used to film landscapes in "The Rise of Skywalker."
A really cool place to soak up some Star Wars vibes.
When in Jordan, this is another spot you should see...and it's famous as a filming location in another Harrison Ford film you might recognize, "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade."
The salt flats were used as the Star Wars filming location for planet Crait where the First Order fought against the Resistance in "The Last Jedi."
There's more to see than the salt flats here!
A unique place to stay with walls made out of salt.
A more affordable stay option, but also a great place to meet other travelers.
A tour that will take you beyond the salt flats.
George Lucas used the Mayan ruins of Tikal as the exterior of the Massassi Outpost (AKA headquarters of the Rebel Alliance), in "A New Hope."
You can stay in this Mayan-themed hotel in the National Park. There's an option to stay at the hotel's hostel, as well.
You have to visit Chewie's birthplace: Kashyyyk. Seen in "Revenge of the Sith."
Phang Nga Bay was also used in the James Bond films!
This hotel is known as a good place to immerse yourself in the local culture.
An adults-only resort where you can stay in the trees. Villas have A/C and there's a plunge pool and other unique amentities.
Serving as the ice planet, Hoth, in "The Empire Strikes Back," is Finse, Norway. The village is just at the foot of this beautiful glacier.
This is where Star Wars fans stay while in Hoth...I mean, Finse. Some Hoth scenes in "The Empire Strikes Back," where filmed right at the hotel, and the entire production crew stayed here during filming.
This was the filming location for the island planet of Ahch-To in "The Force Awakens" and "The Last Jedi." Exiled Luke Skywalker was living here and it's where Rey received her Jedi training.
You'll definitely need to join a tour to visit the Skellig islands. Star Wars fans unite!
A place to stay close to your Skellig Michael tour!
Haven't you ever wanted to jump to Lightspeed?! You can at Disneyland. It ain't like dustin' crops, that's for sure.
You can also see Galaxy's Edge in Florida at Walt Disney World Hollywood Studios. Rise of the Resistance is the ultimate experience for fans.
Grab a drink in Oga's while in Galaxy's Edge in Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida. Be sure to leave your droids outside, though. My favorite beverage here is the Fuzzy Tauntaun (it has tingnling foam that makes your mouth feel a little fuzzy!).
