Polly's Pancake Parlor
They are known for their own high-quality maple syrup which is produced from the sugar maples on their farm. I highly recommend choosing the Pancake Sampler to taste the variety. My favorite was the plain blueberry and the gingerbread walnut!

It’s the perfect white church in fall foliage setting. Came here after breakfast and there was no one in sight! After take some pictures around the church, there’s a road with all the fall leaves!

I love driving through Kancamagus Highway (also known as The Kanc) and just stopping where there’s a pull out and/or vista view. There’s no specific as this highway stretches across Franconia.

Day 3

Flume Gorge
Flume Gorge is part of the Franconia Notch State park and entrance tickets are $18 for adults. It is open daily from May to October from 9am-5pm. Advanced tickets is highly recommended during the fall as there is a high popularity from tourists to visit this place when planning their trip. I also recommend visiting right at opening to be one of the first to enjoy the place and take some photos without the crowds! This is a 2 mile loop trail with some rocky and slippery terrain so wear good shoes!

Conway Scenic Railroad
Take the scenic ride that goes through the mountains and it’s especially scenic because of the fall foliage. Rides duration is from 90 minutes to 5 hours. Advance reservation is needed as it gets booked up quickly. The North Conway station is a historical landmark and listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

Frankenstein Trestle
Hike begins at Arethusa Falls Trailhead, located off Route 302. Distance: 2.4 miles round trip. Elevation Gain: about 600 feet. Level: Moderate. There’s a small parking right at the trailhead but fills quickly. The trail starts with a moderate ascent through a forested area, following the Bemis Brook Trail for a short distance. After about 0.5 miles, you’ll reach a junction. Follow the Frankenstein Cliff Trail to the right. Recommend shoes for uneven and rocky terrain.

Distance: 3.2 mile round trip Elevation gain: 900 ft Level: easy to moderate Trailhead is located at the AMC Crawford Notch Visitor Center Trail starts at the Crawford Depot following the Avalon Trail for a short distance before turning into the Willard Trail. Wear sturdy shoes as it can be slippery and rocky If you’re going for sunset, make sure to bring a head lamp as it gets dark within the forest.
