Barbados for us was a wonderful surprise of magnificent people, world class beaches and food to die for at every meal.
Harrison's Cave Eco-Adventure Park
We were unable to take the tour as the park was closed, but we were able to walk the grounds. The entrance to the cave is stunning, so we could only imagine what it looked like inside.

The area of Bathsheba was a great area to have a beer and watch the surfers do their thing. Located on the east side of the island, it has more of a rugged, weathered look, but a surfer's Paradise.

Now a nature preserve, the Abbey boasts a steam train to take you from. The Abbey has an incredible viewpoint to see the East Island. The train will take you through the protected Mahogany forests.

One of the best runs on the planet, the tour is on the scenic northwest part of the island. Combine this with a cave tour and an Abbey visit, and you have a really nice day ahead.
