Just a short hike to the entrance, this cave is a worthwhile stop. Historically, it’s believed that monks used the cave for meditation and shelter during the early days of Buddhism in the region.

Sitting just outside Hpa-An, Mount Zwegabin has a short but steep hike to its summit. From the parking area it is 1.6 miles each way. Expect to see plenty of wildlife, including long-tailed macaques and the colorful Asian fairy-bluebird. The Zwegabin pagoda and monastery lie at the summit and make for the perfect place to relax and take in the views.
