If you’re traveling solo and on budget, hostels are the best choice. Iceland is know to be the safest country in the world and also popular among lot of hitch hikers and backpackers. There are other cheaper options too but this one is highly recommended by my friends. Its also very centrally located so getting around is much convenient from here.

One of my favorite site in Iceland but it’s a long and boring mile and half hike (one way) there. There is a shuttle that can take you there but depending on weather conditions it may not operate.

If you’re visiting in summer I highly recommend going here around sunset time for the most beautiful view. You can take a very easy hike here and go behind the waterfall. Highly recommended wearing waterproof boots and jackets.

One of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It’s also known as Black Sand Beach and for Game Of Throne Fans, this is where the dragon glass cave is. I recommend going here in the morning before heading back to Reykjavik as it get super busy during the day.
