Molesey is about a 45-minute train ride from downtown London and a charming place to spend the day if you want to get out of the city. King Henry VIII’s palace is here, and it was a really interesting place to tour!
Mada Deli
Go here for breakfast and to fuel up before heading to the palace. It’s right across from the Hampton Court train station. The avocado toast is delish and I loved getting a pot of tea. Plus it is adorable inside.

Exit the palace and stroll through Henry VIII’s hunting grounds. You’re sure to run into grazing herds of deer that don’t seem to be afraid of humans.

After the palace, check out the cricket club about a 10-15 minute walk down the Thames. The club has a restaurant on site with indoor and outdoor tables. Perfect for lunch while watching a match!
