Pinewood
Let's start your 'city' nature day right! One of the best brunch spots in Nashville, Pinewood is always a vibe. Highly recommend the chicken biscuit.
See MoreCrema Coffee Roasters
Just across the street from Pinewood, Crema is known as one of the best coffees in Nashville. The caffeine in this coffee is strong! Be ready to feel like the energizer bunny for the rest of the day.
See MoreWasioto Park
From Crema, I highly recommend walking over the Korean Veteran's Bridge (an unbelievable view over the river and downtown) to Cumberland Park. Probably a 15 minute walk, but you'll get the perfect skyline photo.
See MoreBicentennial Capitol Mall State Park
After Cumerland Park, either drive (or take a scooter) across downtown to the beautiful Bicentennial Park. This park has a stunning view of Capitol Hill, and is a great place to walk around. Check out the Farmer's Market and the Museum in the park as well for the full experience.
See MoreArnold's Country Kitchen
You're in Tennessee. Let's start that soul food journey with many Nashvillian's favorite southern food spot- Arnold's! PLEASE try the roast beef. It's to die for.
See MoreCentennial Park
By now, you're probably extremely full from your large southern breakfast and lunch. I'd recommend a casual afternoon, relaxing in Centennial, where they have a replica of the Parthenon in Greece. The lawn here is an unbelievable place to bring a blanket, a book, and relax. Once your food coma is over, toss the frisbee or walk around the lake here. And if you're down, definitely stay for sunset. The sunset over the Parthenon and the wide expansive lawn is very dreamlike. My personal favorite spot to relax in the city.
See MoreFifth + Broadway
Your energy should be back by now, so let's head back to downtown for a wonderful time at Fifth + Broadway. Great restaurants (and a wonderful winery on the top floor) and shopping options here. It's a great place to spend the evening experiencing one of Nashville's most hip places to be.
