Roaring Springs
A lesser-visited trail, the North Kaibab Trail to Roaring Springs is home to diverse vegetation, a gushing waterfall, and towering Redwall Limestone cliffs. The trail is about 10.5 miles long with over 4,000 feet of elevation gain. Due to steep drop-offs, this trail is not recommended for those with a fear of heights!

Known for being less crowded than Bright Angel and South Kaibab, this 9-mile trail has an elevation gain of 4,340 feet. You'll encounter gorges, waterfalls, and ever-changing views of the canyon along the way. Due to its difficulty, it’s not always recommended as a day hike, so many people choose to spend the night at the Hermit Creek Campground.
