TIP: If foraging, make sure you aren't taking cultivated flowers from your neighbors or shops.

2. floral wire MEASURE
Measure a piece of floral wire around the crown of your head, cut, and wrap the ends around each other to form a circle.

Arrange clippings (leave 2-3" of stem for wrapping) of filler in a circle how you'd like them to appear on the crown then place statement blooms, concentrating them at the front.

WRAP YOUR BASE
Wrap the stems of your filler with 3-4" pieces of wire leaving the last 2" to wrap them on your wire base in the design you arranged. Reserve the big flowers for last.

Caption: B O L D B L O O M S Step 4. Place statement flowers by threading a 4" piece of wire through the center from the back, forming a hook to anchor it, and then pulling it back & wrapping the flower on the base. Concentrate your special blooms toward the front. Done!
