Caption: Noe Valley is a cozy small neighborly SF quarter that I visited couple of times, but never really had the chance to explore it a little bit more. So when lovely Leslie of SpottedSF invited me for a tea time at LoveJoy’s Tea Room I took the opportunity to stroll the streets of Noe Valley. Leslie lived for years in Noe Valley before she moved to Pacific Height; it was fun to discover all the old and new places with her. It seams there was a lot of change in the past years, but some stores are still open even after 30 years. Cheese & Co. delicatessen store is now open for 30 years, it has everything you need to treat yourself or your guest. But also some new neighbors moved in, like the olive oil paradise, Olive This Olive That. You will get lost in the taste wonderland. Noe Valley has books and arts stores, vintage and fashion gems, all mixed with some cozy cafés and restaurants. I had the feeling that everything moves a little bit slower here in Noe Valley and that’s exactly what we need from time to time. In Noe Valley you can stay in the city but escape it’s bustle.

The Little Chihuahua – good Mexican food
La Boulange – It’s a chain bakery, but they really have good coffee and snacks. And of course french pastries.
