Caption: I shaped my first surfboard on April 12 2012. Since then I have handshaped from scratch 2435 boards. It has been the hardest thing financially I have ever imagined doing in my life. I have been through a shit storm of drama because of it, lost my factory, wife took my daughter and left, lost friendships, and after all these things I still can't wait to wake up in the morning and shape and paint a board. Call it an obsession or whatever you want but I love it and will never stop.
