Caption: The gardens, designed to celebrate the millennium, were named to commemorate St. Fiachra, the patron saint of gardeners. The idea was to the capture Ireland’s monastic movement from the 6th and 7th centuries, with woodland, wetland, waterfalls, lakes and streams.
