Caption: So, where'd you go? A simple photo stroll
Caption: It's the end of the week. It was a busy but good one.
Started the week in Virginia and ended back at home in Seattle.
With all the travel and getting caught up on work I didn't get out for a photo walk all week.
Time to break loose.

Caption: To say I love the waterfront is an understatement. For me, the best of all walks is by a large body of water.
When I completed my work projects for the week I grabbed my camera and headed out.
"So, where you going?" my wife asks. The usual I answer.
That means Edmonds, WA. Down at the waterfront in the Puget Sound. Maybe a seashell will be my great find for the day.
Picture
Caption: The weather is just perfect. It was 80 degrees at my house which is inland. Down by the waterfront it's 72, gentle breeze, yet the sun is shining bright.
This weather is going to disappear soon. Summer is nearing its end so I have to enjoy what's left to the max.
At first I just sit and soak in the sun, light napping and listening to the waves on the shore.
Perfection.

Caption: I decided after half an hour to get up and walk around. Otherwise I may just nap the afternoon away.
I saw these little pink boots on the sea wall. Some little kid must have left them. Now they are abandoned waiting for retrieval.
The ferries are doing their usual runs while the pier fishermen are doing their thing. One of them actually caught a really nice bass (I think).
He was pretty excited.

Caption: I love using my iPhone for these types of photo strolls but I also carry my Olympus EM5 Mark II. Coupled with a Leica 15mm it is a perfect kit for street shooting, at least for me.
It's light and gives me that extra bit of photo control that is needed sometimes.
There lots of folks out even though it's 3pm. People should be in school or at work. Wait a minute, I'm out here myself so.... lol.
Yep, there I am...I see myself.
Picture
Caption: Yep, lots of my fellow senior citizens are out and about. I am senior but not nearly as senior as some. When I do get really aged I am not planning to be on a walker with my camera hanging around my neck.
In fact, I am working more easy jogging into my exercise program. Trying to delay the inevitable.
As I sit and people watch I realize how quickly time passes. At one time all of us were young looking at the "old folks" but now we are them.
Picture
Caption: Well, time is up. Time to head back home and run some errands on the way. It was a great 4 hours.
No earthshaking or important photos today but that wasn't the intent.
As I head back to the car I see the pink boots are still abandoned. Other kids have come out to enjoy the last rays of summer. The trees are starting to turn. Fall is coming and we'll be wishing for these awesome summer days.
Glad I got out to enjoy the day. "So, where did you go?" Oh, nowhere.
