Caption: Silver Falls State Park in Oregon is located just 25 miles from the state's capital. It's the largest state park in Oregon and has over ten falls to choose from.
We decided to head out Thanksgiving afternoon. Since time was limited, we chose to explore the largest waterfall: South Falls.

Caption: I won't be forgetting this Thanksgiving anytime soon ! I couldn't have imagined a better way to spend time with my family on our day to give thanks. I'll be dreamin' about this pretty place for awhile! I'm so thankful for pretty waterfalls, nice hikes, and misty mornings. It's amazing how much Mother Earth has to offer us if we only look !
