Caption: MONDAY We drove down the coast to Musselburgh in the evening, parking at Fisherrow Harbour - and grabbing a quick photo of Harris - before walking along the beach as the sun set. The light was absolutely magical.

Caption: TUESDAY I asked my yoga teacher Victoria if I could borrow something green for some photos with Harris. I was hoping for a scarf, perhaps, but instead, when I explained what it was for, she gave me this beautiful jade mala, representing the heart chakra.
I didn't realise that Victoria has a new venture, Soul Clothes, selling clothes and handmade jewellery. This piece was made in Bali. As soon as I opened the bag, I felt as if this mala was mine.
I returned it on Wednesday but the next day, after yoga, Victoria gave it back to me. "It's absorbed your energy," she said simply. "It's already yours."

Caption: WEDNESDAY One of the joys of spring is having evenings back - daylight evenings that is.
On Wednesday evening we drove to Newhailes on the outskirts of Edinburgh to take Harris for a walk. Newhailes House was owned by one family for 300 years before being taken on by The National Trust for Scotland in the 1990s.
It's an impressive house.

Caption: THURSDAY Harris and I took a walk to Stockbridge and bumped into Andrew Fletcher and Rachel Green of Twentieth Century Antiques. Andrew and Rachel had recently made a trip to Denmark where they picked up a classic Hans Wegner Papa Bear chair.
"Would you like to see it?" Rachel asked. You can guess my answer.

Caption: SATURDAY It was a sparkling sunny day so we drove down the coast to Yellowcraig for a woodland and beach walk. Again, beautiful light. Though it was cold. Really cold!
