Caption: An overnight solo mission to the Elfin Lakes hut SEARCH FOR THE AURORA
Picture
Caption: A few weeks ago, there was an intense aurora forecast, far further south than usual. Living in Vancouver, I knew my chances of capturing the light show were slim if I had to compete against the bright city lights.
So I quickly packed my gear and headed north to Squamish, with the goal of spending a night in the alpine at the Elfin Lakes hut.
