Picture
Picture
Caption: Sakura is a Japanese cherry tree indigenous to many Asian states including: China, India, Japan, and Korea.
We however, are lucky to have them here, in Ontario, Canada.
Their beautiful blossom only lives for approx 10 days or less, so if you don't make it out when they're blossoming you'll miss it.
So, want to see them?
Here's what I saw today....

Caption: As you can see, people from all over come to see these beauties. By approximately the end of next week, the blooms will be all gone, on the ground...
It's a bitter sweet emotion. On the one hand it's sad that they live such a short life, yet how sweet to have been able to be in their presence and stimulate all of our senses.
So hey, if you're in Toronto this week, head over to High Park and fall in love with
Sakura...
