On January 1, 2016 I began my sixth
"30 Paintings in 30 Days" challenge.
This year's theme was "Reflections"
and I painted new abstracts over
some of my larger, old paintings.
On many works, I kept some of the
original painting showing through.
Others disappeared completely,
leaving only the original title behind.
I'm delighted with the new series
which features soft abstractions and
a few bold expressions. Some are
enhanced with metallic touches and
others are loaded with texture.
