Caption: Plastic bottles, a modern invention of convenience.
But what can we do with it once it is empty?
Picture
Caption: You will need a sharp knife and scissors to cut the plastic into a cylinder shape.
Picture
Caption: Once I had cut the shapes out for bangles, I was left with the base of the bottles which with some imagination looked like pretty little bowls.
Let's save them for later.

Caption: The edges were very sharp so we need to smooth them somehow.

Turn it on low, just warm enough to melt the plastic, but not so hot that you ruin your iron.
Turn the page to see the method used to melt the edges, curling them over slightly.

Next step - add some colour.

I had an idea for that....

from one plastic soda water bottle came two bracelets, one small bowl and a large wine glass....
