Caption: NYC stands as arguably the most beautiful urban landscape in the world. But the hustle and bustle wears on you, making you want to escape. Even if just for a day, even if just for a few hours, you look for a place up the river.
My favorite escapes came in Autumn, when I would head north. There I'd hike through gorgeous fall foliage or take in a football game at one of the most stunning stadiums on Earth.
