Caption: My July,
by Harris #findharris
Caption: June was a big month with birthdays and a holiday, and at the end of it I did think, how do we follow that?
But July turned out to be a big month too.
Picture
Caption: It started with a friend Jeffrey's birthday, and you know how I like a party hat.
Picture
Caption: And then we prepared for July 5 and our celebration #fortheLOVEofDOGS
Picture
Caption: It was a big day as canines and their humans posted yellow photos, or photos with a little bit of yellow, on Instagram.
We used the hashtags
#YellowAgainstYulin
#TurnInstagramYellow
So many people joined in.
Picture
Picture
Caption: On July 6, we rested our paws.
Picture
Caption: And there were walks. Great walks. To the beach, to the woods, to Cammo Estate and Newhailes.

Caption: My Uncle Bracken came to stay.

Picture
Caption: And there were #doortraits
Some of you will know that my π©π» has a thing about doors. So do I. Is this genetic, I wonder?
Picture
Caption: My pal Oliver @oliver_thewirefox and I are co-founders of #theπͺclub on Instagram.
We pose at doors. All sorts of doors.
#theπͺclub is open to everyone. Take a #doortrait and tag it and join in.

Caption: And then π©π» decided to mix things up a little.
She's a fan of Momo and the #findmomo series with Andrew Knapp's fabulous photography (@andrewknapp).
So she decided to combine doors with #findharris Having spent a long time trying to persuade people that I'm not small (I'm a very big miniature!), suddenly π©π» is taking photos where I'm tiny.
Picture
Caption: Smaller than that... π

Picture
Caption: This is one of π©π»'s
favourite doors.
Picture

Picture
Picture
Caption: Not a door. More a floral explosion.
Picture
Caption: This next door is a little bit special as this is where π©π» used to live BH (Before Harris) and BD (Before Dad). Back in the days when she was a young pupadoodle.
And the funny thing is, π¨π» worked on the next street along. For years, they were within a hundred yards of each other.
But they never met.
Until later, after π©π» moved. Life is funny, huh?

Picture
Caption: Okay, enough doors. Moving on...
Picture
Caption: We drove down the coast to Ravensheugh Beach.
Picture
Caption: And we went to Holy Island. Here I am resting my (hot) paws at the Lindisfarne Visitor Centre.
Picture
Picture
Caption: And this month's #DukeBox arrived from Ruby & Duke. As you can see, I'm delighted to be posing with the box.
Caption: And here's the exciting bit. I've teamed up with Ruby & Duke (rubyandduke.com) to help raise funds for the dog charity Dogs Trust (dogstrust.org.uk).
People (in the UK) can get a 20% discount off the cost of a month's #DukeBox subscription using my code 'HARRIS' and a further 20% is given to Dogs Trust.
That's cool.
We're calling it #2020
Picture
Caption: What's in a #DukeBox you might be asking? Well, cool stuff. Like herbal tea. Yes, for dogs.
Picture
Caption: Toys. Toys that squeak. That have been designed to drive your humans crazy. Those toys.
Picture
Picture
Caption: And just as July started with a birthday, so it ended with my friend Ernie's birthday. Time
for a pirate hat.
Picture
Caption: So that was my July.
Thank you for reading.
See you in August...
