Caption: 'That' Scottish Tree Loch Lomond
Picture
Caption: There's this wee tree on the banks of Loch Lomond, which is a tad photogenic. I have many pics of it (as do most Scottish photographers). Here's a few of mine...
Picture
Caption: It's a very rare occasion that you'll toddle along to this spot for a pic of this tree and you'll be the only one there. They come from far and wide, especially if a decent sunset is forecast, and they'll wait for hours for just the right moment, jostling for position...but it's all good banter.
Picture
Caption: One night I had it to myself, just me, the tree and a faint Milky Way...
Picture
Caption: Even tried painting it with light beneath the stars...
Picture
Caption: Still, I think it's at its best at sunset...
Picture
Caption: Here it is basking in the setting sun. As is the summit of Ben Lomond keeking over the wee hills in the distant backdrop...
Picture
Caption: Even on a choppy day when the Loch is high, the wee tree still looks good. A sprinkling of snow on the Luss hills in the background doesn't do any harm either...
Picture
Caption: No snow on the hills, the water still, the sky grey and overcast. A wee touch of Autumnal colour in the leaves. It's never a dull wee tree really...
Picture
Caption: Joshua Tree In the summer months the level of the Loch can drop quite a bit. It gives the impression that the tree has decided to take a wee stroll up the beach...
Picture
Caption: About as leafy as it gets...
Picture
Caption: It makes for a nice silhouette.
Picture
Caption: This is currently my favourite pic of 'that' Scottish tree. I say 'currently' as my favourite shot changes...I like to think my next shot of it will be the best. This was my last shot of it...
Picture
Caption: There ye go...hope you've not found this too repetitive, there's loads more where these came from, and enjoyed 'my' wee tree (there's gonny be some people no happy with me calling it mine...lol )
